Tri-Roundular screws work like a tap... The threads are formed in a pilot hole by the three vertexes that give the Tri-Roundular family it’s name. It’s a roll-forming process which displaces material rather than removing material. The work-hardened internal thread is stronger and more resistant to fatigue than cut threads.
